Background
Prior to joining Eastman Kodak, Mr. Youden served as Research and Development
Manager at Rank Pneumo, a division of Rank Taylor Hobson Inc., for ten
years. Before that, he was Director of Engineering at the Cone Blanchard
Machine Company. He has also worked at Ocean Systems, Inc. of Reston,
Virginia, and the Heald Machine Company, a division of Cincinnati Milacron.
During his professional career, Mr. Youden has been granted numerous
patents in the field of machine tools, and he has published and presented
technical papers on the design and testing of ultra-precision machine
tools in the US, Japan, and Germany. He is a charter member of the American
Society for Precision Engineering, of which he was president in 1999.
