Background

Brandon grew up in a small town in the middle of the Nevada desert called Battle Mountain . He obtained his B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering at University of Nevada , Reno . While in school, he has had experience working as a Spanish, Math, and Engineering tutor at Thompson Tutoring Center , worked as an intern for the Robotics R&D department at Hamilton Company in Reno , and worked as an undergraduate research assistant at the Nanocomposites lab at UNR.

Brandon pulled out his roots in Nevada and trekked over to North Carolina to join the PEC in June 2008.
