Background
Tyler joined the PEC as an undergraduate research assistant in 2019. He later pursued a Master’s in aerospace engineering while working at the lab where he worked on a MATLAB application to predict the material removal of elastic emission machining (EEM). Following the completion of his Master’s degree in 2022 he started working towards getting his doctoral degree in aerospace engineering. His dissertation is on the development of a framework for error measurement and compensation in 5-axis machine tools. Tyler specializes in metrology and simulation.
